Cruising:
There are generally two to four cruises a season. Some are as close as Penobscot Bay and others as far Canada. Some are long weekends and some are as long as a week +. The club has seen as few as three boats on a cruise to more than ten boats. Participating members help pick locations to visit and join in for a day or for the whole trip.

Racing:
Harbor races Tuesdays June through September starting at 5pm or so with boats participating for one to two hours followed by a wrap up at the ACF. Solstice Race in June on Penobscot Bay (three to five hours). Bayside/Rockland Race in July. Around Islesboro Race with Northport Yacht Club in September. Members also participate in the Digby Race (first place 2001), Downeast Race Week, and the Bermuda Race.

Social:
Progressive dinners with boats rafting at Broad Cove, Owl's Head. Lobster Picnic in September. Holiday party in December at the Samoset Resort - we tend to clean up for this one. Business meetings September through May with either educational programs or entertainment. Pot luck suppers after some club meetings during the winter (October - May). Spring picnic in May (at the Rockport Boat Club).
